Meet Riley-
Hey there! I’m Riley. I love period-piece dramas on PBS, chai tea lattes and EARRINGS—you’ll almost never see me without a pair on! I’ve never met a Christmas tree I didn’t like, and my dog, Adelaide, is arguably a foxier redhead than I am!
I decided to dive headfirst into adventure elopements because they spoke to me on a very personal level. I did the whole big white wedding thing, and while it was lovely, and there’s no right or wrong way to get married, as someone who doesn’t necessarily like being the center of attention, and craves exploring with my bae all day every day, elopements check all the boxes. Traveling is my biggest passion, with loving relationships being a close second. Marrying the two to help couples create a perfectly intimate, tailored to you, badass wedding day is what I’m aiming for! I truly believe love and adventure go hand-in-hand; wedded together. I have years of experience exploring some of the most beautiful places on Earth and a long list of ideas for you and your honey to kick off your biggest adventure yet—marriage! All you need to know is that you’re ready to pledge your love to one another, and I can help with the rest!
My Adventure Partner
Below is my boo, Cody. Cody and I have been exploring this big ole’ world together since 2017. So far we’ve been to 24 different countries with Iceland, Italy and Greece being some of our favorites, although it really is so freaking hard to choose. Some of our more notable adventures include riding camels through the Sahara in a rainstorm, taking a nap in a Parisian movie theater after 24-hours of travel and no luck finding somewhere to stay, exploring Angkor Wat through the sweltering heat, numerous cave tours complete with full on swimming, scrambling to get out of Asia as the world shut down in March 2020, and only one motor scooter wreck in 5 years! (No major injuries, thankfully!) Last spring, we set out to explore Iceland and had our first ever camper van experience. It was UNBELIEVABLE! We ran out of superlatives for how incredibly gorgeous Iceland is in about two seconds. We quickly moved on to expletives. Lol. Overall, we think walking is the absolute best way to get to really know a city, and local street food is our preferred meal of choice. Having a partner just as excited to see new places as I am is one of the greatest blessings I’ve ever known. Wandering the world was all I ever dreamt of as a kid...being madly in love and exploring together is simply the world’s biggest ever added bonus.
